Aron Hyde - BIG CAT GOALKEEPING

Aron Hyde Joined Big Cat Goalkeeping in March 2016 and has recently signed with MLS side Atlanta United FC as Mens Head Goalkeeper Coach


Aron Hyde spent six seasons as 1st Team goalkeeping coach for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club. During his time Aron played an integral role in the development of U.S. international Sean Johnson. In addition to training the Fire’s goalkeeping core, Aron was also Academy Goalkeeper Director, where he oversaw and ran training sessions for the clubs USSDA goalkeepers.


Prior to returning to Chicago Hyde was assistant coach with the University of Washington’s men’s team. Other coaching experiences include being Goalkeeping Coach for Seattle University’s men’s and women’s soccer teams, from 2006-09.  He has been involved as a Region IV Staff Coach, an NSCAA goalkeeping staff instructor and with the Washington state Olympic Development Program.


Hyde’s vast playing experience includes spells with Walsall FC, Millwall FC, and Wycombe Wanderers in his native England. Stateside, he spent time at Judson College (NAIA). He currently possesses his USSF A and USSF Goalkeeping Licenses, and his UEFA A Coaching License.


Most recently Hyde has been working with US Men’s National Team programs. Hyde has served as Goalkeeper Coach for the Full team along with the U23’s.


Hyde, who lives in Chicago, earned his Masters in Sport Administration and Leadership from Seattle University in 2009.
