KENN FRYER
Kenn Fryer is currently on the men's soccer coaching staff at Rensselayer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
In his first season, the Wilmington, Mass., native helped the Engineers to their most successful campaign in school history. Led by nine All-Liberty League honorees, they registered school record totals in games played (23), wins (16-3-4), winning streak (10 games), unbeaten streak (13-0-2), goals (47) and goals in an NCAA Tournament game (4). They were first in the conference (6-1-2) and advanced past the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time, reaching the Elite 8. They were seventh in the final United Soccer Coaches Poll and 11th by D3soccer.com.
Josh Gaudiano was the Liberty League Rookie of the Year and co-Player of the Year, Trevor Bisson garnered National All-America and Dylan Confair was a CoSIDA National Academic All-America. The staff members were recognized as the Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year as well as the United Soccer Coaches East Region Staff of the Year.
Fryer spent the the 2018 season as an assistant at Brown University, where he was the goalkeeper coach. He also aided with on-campus recruiting visits, opponent scouting and film breakdown. Furthermore, he worked with the strength & conditioning staff and was in charge of the team's social media accounts.
Prior to his time at Brown, Fryer was the assistant at Clark University for two years as the goalkeeper coach, as well as managing the program's recruiting database, scouting opponents, and reviewing and editing film. He assisted the NSCAA Scholar All-American East Region Committee and the USC Scholar All-American National Committee. He also coached the goalkeepers in the women's program during his second year in Worcester.
